Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, etc., the international cloud technology giants, announced this year that they would strengthen the net-zero carbon emission technology and create lasting economic growth for Taiwan industry. CIAT today (21st) presented the net-zero carbon emission technology of data centers at the " AIoT Taiwan Exhibition". In addition, the "Taiwan Cloud Computing and IoT Pavilion" was set up with three major axes, namely, "Cloud Net-Zero Carbon Emissions Business Opportunities", "5G & AI Technology and Applications" and "Enterprise Health Inspection Internet of Things Information Security", bringing together three major telecom companies and Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to display 17 innovative technologies in a show of industrial energy.

Chih-Kung Lee, chairman of CIAT, said that no matter where you are, you are facing the same issue: the climate crisis, when the progress of science and technology is accelerating and a hundred flowers are blooming. The 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), which just ended in mid-November, put "gradually reducing fossil fuels" into the official text, urging governments to put forward carbon reduction schedules and positive paths, and local governments and enterprises made a host of commitments with "zero carbon economy" as the core. However, the power consumption of global data centers is estimated to increase from 2~3% to 10% by 2030. We must lay out energy-saving data center solutions as early as possible, master our own carbon footprint hotspots, and turn resistance into assistance to ensure sustainable operation.

In addition, this system provides the interface service of Taipower DREAMS system, which can immediately transmit the power generation information back to Taipower company.
