The rights and obligations of Cloud Computing & IoT Association in Taiwan.
All constituents of the Association are members. Any public or private institution or group or one with a residency of 20 years or more and registered by a government agency, who are interested in cloud computing, can apply for it. All qualified applicants can become members.

I. Rights and benefits of members

  1. The right to participate in the general meeting and working group
  2. The right to obtain the technical data of the joint output of the association
  3. You may have the right to participate in the activities of the association and the right to make proposals
  4. Have the right to participate in the technical specification formulation discussion meeting, and make substantive suggestions for product specifications
  5. The company and product information can be linked to the association website or other related websites.
  6. According to the needs of industrial development, you are entitled to the coordination and assistance of the association in obtaining government technology research and development grants
    • You can participate in the following matters at a discount or free of charge:
    • Seminars or training courses organized by the association
    • Market regulation information and technical specifications, product standards, patent maps etc. that are planned to make public.
    • Matching of Industrial cooperation or business promotion
    • Exhibitions and other marketing promotions sponsored or co-organized by the Association

II. Member obligations

  1. Compliance with the articles of association of the Association.
  2. Compliance with the resolutions of the general meeting of the association.
  3. Assist in the implementation of the association's job assignments.
  4. Payment of membership fee.

Admission fee: NT$100,000 for Class A member, NT$50,000 for Class B member, NT$10,000 for Class C member (limited to companies with a capital less than NT$5 million); NT$10,000 for academic unit member, NT$10,000 for individual member • Annual membership fee: NT$100,000 for Class A member, NT$50,000 for Class B member, NT$10,000 for Class C member (limited to companies with a capital less than NT$5 million); NT$10,000 for academic unit member, NT$10,000 for individual member • Member representative: Six for Class A member, three for B class member, and one for Class C member, and one for academic unit member.

III. Meetings

  1. General meeting: To be convened by the chairman of the board of directors who also shall preside over the meeting; to be convened once a year, and convene ad hoc meetings as needed; all members should be notified in writing 15 days in advance. Resolutions of the general meeting shall be adopted with the consent of more than half of the members present.
  2. Committee meetings: The committee chairman shall convene committee meetings or discussion meetings as required for the objectives of the committee.

IV. Others

  1. Management of confidentiality and intellectual property rights: Members of the Association shall abide by the responsibility of not infringing on other members or related intellectual property rights, and shall sign a confidentiality agreement if necessary.
  2. Funding: The source of funding for the Association is admission fee, annual membership fee, sponsorship or other income. It is to be handled in accordance with the type B accounting principle and the relevant provisions of the tax law.
  3. The Articles of Association shall be implemented after the adoption of the general meeting. The changes to the Articles of Association shall be attended by more than one-half of the members of the general meeting, and the resolution shall be passed by two-thirds of the members present.

We hope that through the effective operation mechanism of the Association, we will help members to truly grasp the technical needs of the next wave of products, and lead the development of the latest technology and market of the global cloud computing and Internet of Things, and promote Taiwan to become a global exporter of cloud services.
